XL-Bullies and Control Order Dogs: Please contact this field directly to find out if they are allowing dogs banned under the Dangerous Dogs Act to use their facility and under what circumstances. Many fields are unable to accommodate XL Bullies for a variety of reasons and those that do may need copies of your paperwork in advance so you must check before you book.
We use this field regularly for play dates with our reactive german shepherd and her friend. It’s a great field as it has trees around the edges which provide some shade and interesting sniffs, they also supply water and clean bowls to use. On our last visit they had added some large tyres for a bit of enrichment – climbing under and over – which is nice as before it was a big open space. Notes for reactive dogs: The field is on the site of a kennels and cattery so you can often hear other dogs parking when you arrive and wait in the car. The car parking is fenced as well as the field so you can let your dog straight out of the car when you arrive and close the gates. There are horses in one of the adjacent fields and a busy main road at the front which could be a problem if your dog has a problem with noise or chasing cars.
