About This Field
Wild Wuffas Secure Dog Field is located in breathtaking scenery in the Peak District National Park. It’s approximately 10 miles from both Buxton and Leek to the north and south.
Booking and Accessing Wild Wuffas Secure Dog Field
Booking is through a secure website and sessions are 50 minutes – if you have a reactive dog, we recommend leaving the usual few minutes either side of your booking to ensure you don’t bump into other users.
The field location is marked at the farm gate and located just a few minutes drive down a farm track – the W3W link and Google maps pin will both take you directly to the gate.
Once you arrive at the field there is an area suitable for one vehicle inside the secure fencing on hard standing. The gates are flush with the ground and there is a padlock for securing yourself once inside the parking area.
What is Wild Wuffas Secure Dog Field Like?
Wild Wuffas has lovely views out to the Peak District National Park and is a very nice space. Your dog is visible from everywhere in the field which can be reassuring for some users.

There is a lovely field shelter which houses a seating area, some complimentary drinks, water for the dogs and a closed-lid toy box containing some good quality toys.
Is Wild Wuffas Dog Field Secure?
This field is fenced to 6ft (1.8m) with high tensile thik gauge netting (see image for reference with standard medium chuck-it). The netting is 5cm x 10cm universally from top to bottom so is suitable for all but the tiniest or most athletic dogs. The fencing is well installed and flush with the ground.
The car park is a secure pen for safe release and has a good surface. There’s a small area of grass for pre-field ablutions and a welcome boot scraper although, even following some very wet weather, the field was in incredibly good condition with no muddy areas.
