About This Field
Ettington is the gold standard of secure dog walking fields and it’s evident when you arrive that this is a facility run by people who truly understand the requirements of a secure field. The farm is easy to find, located just south of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. It has three excellent fields, all different and an indoor training bran. Links to the other facilities can be found at the bottom of the page.
The epic 25 acre Pudding Furlong offers a 3 acre ancient woodland and the rest laid to grass which provides a really fabulous circular walk. You can pit-stop at the numerous benches and there are play areas dotted around with tyres and logs for your dogs to get stuck into. There are ditches and ponds so don’t expect pristine dogs on departure!
Pudding Furlong is a drive-in facility and has a large grassy area which provides an excellent opportunity for your dog to go to the toilet before heading off on adventures. The gate is secured by padlock and the code is sent to you the evening before (or on the day should you be fortunately to get a last minute slot). The car park area also has a large water bowser for washing and a separate fresh water drinking bowser that is refilled daily.
Pudding Furlong is divided internally by 4ft stock fencing which gives you some opportunity to keep any eye on your dogs in these enormous fields! There are three main paddocks and the woodland. Occasionally during high winds the woodland is closed for safety.
Important Notes for Reactive Dog Owners:
Ettington operate a 15 minute changeover buffer which means you should not cross previous or following users. In our experience this works extremely well and we have never crossed paths with other users in many visits.
