BRITISH DOG FIELD OF THE YEAR 2024 CATEGORY WINNER

WORKING WITH NATURE

This well-deserved accolade was awarded by a panel of experts in canine health and well-being, ecology, dog behaviour and secure dog field operation.

Horse Meadow was declared “Almost unrivalled” in terms of it’s biodiversity, range of habitats and enriching environment for dogs and humans.

What is Horse Meadow Dog Field Like?

Horse Meadow is a stunning 4 acre wild meadow, fenced to 6ft with close aperture fencing, brimming with wild flowers in the summer and complete with a great pond for cooling off. This pond is also fenced to 6ft and access is by a gate if you do not wish for your dog to go swimming.

This drive-in field offers space for two cars with easy turning space, and the field itself is accessed through a welded mesh gate secured with a combination padlock.

Once inside you will see that this field is separated into two areas, divided by a stock fence, allowing for more control of where your dog runs off to. The bigger field contains the pond and lots of wide cut paths through long meadow grass. You will be treated to a butterfly and wildflower display all summer long. This area also provides a lot of cover for any training you might like to do.

The smaller field is a little drier in winter and has tracks all around, making for a lovely loop with a fantastic view of the Warwickshire countryside.

The parking area has a large water bowser for washing your dogs off and a separate fresh water container for drinking. Waste bins are provided.
