About This Field
Field Notes
South Acres Fields are perfectly located between Thirsk and South Kilvington and offers exclusive use of our newest purpose-built dog walking field which is great for all types of dogs and especially those that are nervous or reactive.
The field benefits from 6-foot-high fencing, access to fresh water, secure car parking and a range of enrichment activities. The field is surrounded by mature hedgerows and enjoy the beauty of the open countryside. It is also accessible on foot using public footpaths from Thirsk or South Kilvington.

I have used South Acres several times now.
Some other fields have unfortunately become waterlogged with the recent prolonged rainy spell but I have never had any such problems here. There is lots of space for my dog to run around – plus jumping bars / obstacles.
There is a picnic bench and a shelter as well.
This is a great, well managed field & I thoroughly recommend it
