Field Owner Notes

Tails in the Trees is a private enclosed 6-acre dog field set within our family Christmas tree farm in Barrow upon Humber, North Lincolnshire — created for dogs (and owners) who want something a little different from a standard secure field.

Your booking gives exclusive use of the entire site — no other dogs will be present — so it’s ideal for reactive dogs, nervous dogs, puppies, training sessions, decompression walks or simply letting dogs enjoy being dogs.

The experience includes access to two different areas:

🌲 A unique enclosed Christmas tree and woodland area for exploring, sniffing, hide and seek and slower adventure walks. Picnic tables/benches are dotted around to take a rest or take in the view.

🐾 A separate fully secure grass play area where dogs can safely enjoy off-lead zoomies and play.

Drive directly into the enclosed field for stress-free arrivals and departures — especially helpful for excitable, nervous or multiple dog households.

We’ve added the things we wish every dog field had:

• Secure parking inside the field
• Fresh water
• Dog and boot wash area
• Toilet facilities for humans and poo bags for the dogs
• Sheltered seating area & picnic benches
• Jumps, tunnels and enrichment features
• Space to train, play or simply switch off
• QR codes to access free training videos on how to use the equipment
• Monthly Facebook posts from our friends of the park Guns n Noses Dog Training and The Shire Vets with monthly tips and helpful topics
  Bookings are private hire only (up to 4 dogs included per session).

Visitors often tell us it feels wild enough to feel free… but secure enough to feel safe.
