XL-Bullies and Control Order Dogs: Please contact this field directly to find out if they are allowing dogs banned under the Dangerous Dogs Act to use their facility and under what circumstances. Many fields are unable to accommodate XL Bullies for a variety of reasons and those that do may need copies of your paperwork in advance so you must check before you book.
About This Field
Field Notes
Each field has 2m high secure fencing with wire netting along the ground to stop dogs scrambling or digging under the fence. Only one booking is possible per time slot, so you have the use of the field entirely to yourselves.
Carr field is a large 6 acre field. Walkington field is smaller, at 1.5 acres so sometimes better for recall training. Manor is 6.5 acres.
Ings is our newest field, also at 6.5 acres, which opened in September 2023. It is our flattest field as it was in cropping until recently. The other fields are old grassland so are more undulating.
Great for all types of dogs, but particularly good for nervous or reactive dogs. The fields have a double gated handling area to keep entry safe.
The Carr field is not at the main farm entrance, it is situated off Grange Way (A1035), opposite the Hayride pub.
