XL-Bullies and Control Order Dogs: Please contact this field directly to find out if they are allowing dogs banned under the Dangerous Dogs Act to use their facility and under what circumstances. Many fields are unable to accommodate XL Bullies for a variety of reasons and those that do may need copies of your paperwork in advance so you must check before you book.
A great secure exercise field, for hire at £10 for up to 2 dogs for 50 mins , allowing 10 mins to get back to your car and away .price increases depending on how many dogs you bring.
A poo bin on site , bring your own poo bags .Overall people do clear up after their dogs
Surrounded by a 6 ft fence which is also reinforced from the bottom incase small dogs try to get through .
Parking for up to 6 cars , a short walk up the track ( which can be muddy after heavy rain) entrance to the field by a code sent on the email of confirmation .
The field is in the middle of other farmland, sometimes horses in one, occasionally cows in the other, but otherwise in countryside .
So peaceful, with lots of birdsong !
There are two large clear areas for running about, a few agility props, a splash pond, fresh water , some “perches “”for humans to rest on!
Paths are cut through the grasses , these are home to wild flowers. A great selection of young trees which have matured well in the last couple of years , . Several clumps of brambles which are great to play hide and seek, lots of space to play search games , and ball games
It’s quite open to the elements with no shelter , so be prepared in case of rain or strong sunshine
The only downside for me is no seats suitable for older people , ie a bench , and a shelter would be a great addition . (The only reason for 4 stars )
But overall it’s a lovely dog field which we use a lot .
