Booking and Accessing Just A Dog In A Field
Booking a session at Just A Dog In A Field is very straight forward using their online booking system. Once you’ve selected your session, you will receive a booking confirmation and an email from the owner requesting vaccination certificates for the dogs you are bringing as well as further details about your booking. If you are bringing more than 2 dogs, you are asked to put £1 per additional dog in the honesty box on site.
You access the field from a private track that is approximately 1 miles from the main road (A422) and suitable for all but very low clearance vehicles. The field is signposted from the main road.
As you approach the field you will see a designated area on your right in front of a security gate where you can park. We suggest reversing into this space so that you can easily get your dogs out of the car and into the field.
This field is not drive-in and is located on a working farm so you must put your dogs on a lead between the car and the pedestrian access gate to the field.
The field is secured with a padlock and you will receive the code prior to your session or the owner will meet you on site to talk you through the facilities.
What is Just a Dog In A Field like?
Despite only being 1 acre, there is so much enrichment in this field that your session will fly by!
With small agility equipment suitable for most dogs, tents for scent training and several enormous sand piles, your dogs won’t really know where to begin.
There is also a cabin with drinks making facilities (honesty box payment), plenty of toys to choose from if you wish and a warm dog wash.
The field has multiple dog waste bins around the perimeter and was spotless on our visit. There is also a mains fed water tap.
The backdrop of this field is lovely with far reaching views of the Warwickshire countryside.
Is Just A Dog In A Field Secure?
This field is surrounded with 6ft, narrow gauge deer fencing and is in excellent condition. The fencing is knitted well at the base and there were no holes to be found.
Access is through a 6ft welded mesh pedestrian gate with a padlock that you can secure from the inside.
Notes for Reactive Dog Owners:
This field is on a working farm and there is a vehicle track that runs along now side of the field that is active with vehicles. Despite several vehicles passing during our visit, the track did not bother our vehicle reactive dog as it was several metres from the fence line but may be something to consider.
As some points during the year, there may be livestock grazing in the field surrounding the dog park but the owner will alert users to this prior to your visit.
