The park is a work in progress. We have so far fitted secure fencing, an air lock system car park and have built a new entrance road directly into the park from Walton Road. We have installed solar lighting around the perimeter of the park, a fresh water tap, added a park shelter and seating areas, a play area, a sand pit, a seasonal splash pool and a sensory garden. You will find numerous waste bins and free poo bags placed around the park.
We have tons of ideas which we are eager to bring to life over the next few months. One of our biggest projects so far has been to plant over 2500 wildlife and dog friendly shrubs around the entire outer fencing of the park to provide privacy and we will soon be planting trees within the park to provide shaded areas in the warmer summer months. We are also continuing to expand Lily’s Peace Garden for those who prefer to sniff and wander at a slower pace.
