About This Field
Chapel Farms dog paddocsk are really well thought out and perfect if you’re on holiday in the Newquay area of Cornwall in the summer when dogs aren’t allowed on all the beaches.
The Upper Paddock is a 2 acre grass paddock on a slope and is secured to 6ft all round. The Lower paddock is also secure to 6ft (not visited yet but assume the same excellent standard).
You need to look carefully for the entrance from the main road as it’s not obvious but once in, there is a large turning area before you enter the Upper Paddock secure area which has plenty of hard standing for several cars (depending on the size of your vehicle). There is a clip on the inside of the fence which just gives users that added peace of mind once they are inside.
There is an enrichment area at the bottom of the slope and a great big mound that the dogs absolutely love to charge up and down.
The summer house shelter is very welcome in summer months and the hard standing area by the tap is an excellent touch where you can fill bowls up and wash your dog down.
It’s really great value, superb location in a busy tourist area which can be a nightmare for reactive pups.
You need to book well in advance in summer months – particularly in the cooler hours but if you keep an eye on their facebook page, sometimes cancellations are posted for people to pick up last minute.
