We honestly cannot recommend Bonnie Dugs Unleashed Dog Park enough! 🐾
It genuinely has everything you could possibly need for your dog to have the best time. There’s loads of agility equipment, climbing obstacles, tunnels, hay bales, a sand pit for digging, sensory areas for sniffing and exploring, and even a massive bucket full of toys. Every visit feels like a brand new adventure for our boy!
It’s also so well thought out for the humans too, hand sanitiser, poop bag dispensers, bins for waste, a dog watering station, and multiple covered seating areas so you can stay comfortable whatever the weather. Rain or shine, the park has you covered.
The field itself is absolutely massive and gives dogs so much freedom and space to properly run, play, explore, and burn off energy safely. It’s beautifully set out and you can tell so much care and attention has gone into every detail. We also LOVE the use of astroturf in areas around the park because it really helps stop everything becoming a muddy mess during wet weather, which makes such a difference in Scotland!
We’ve also had the pleasure of meeting Joe, the owner, and honestly the service he provides is second to none. He recognises his customers, always takes the time for a blether, and is genuinely one of the friendliest, kindest people you could meet. You can tell immediately how much he cares about both the dogs and their owners.
I contacted Joe to ask if we could host our dog’s birthday party at the park and he was more than accommodating. He allowed us to decorate the park with balloons and banners, put out a dog friendly spread of food, and because he had maintenance booked after our slot, he very kindly gave us extra time so our boy could enjoy his birthday celebrations a little longer. That level of kindness and care is so rare nowadays and it meant so much to us.
You can really tell Bonnie Dugs Unleashed was created by true dog lovers, and that’s exactly what you want in a place like this.
Safe to say we absolutely love it here and it’s quickly become one of our favourite places to take the dogs. We only found out about Bonnie Dugs Unleashed last week and have been to 5 sessions already! If you’re looking for somewhere secure, fun, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for both dogs and humans, this is the place to go. 🐶🤍
