5 Acres Canine Field is 5 Acres of grass paddock, secured by 1.8m high steel, mesh fencing with a secure drive-in release pen, located approximately 1.7miles out of Northallerton.
The 5-acre exercise field contains:
- Views on to the Yorkshire Dales and Yorkshire Moors
- Environmental enrichments for dogs
- Viewing hut in case of bad weather
- Benches for sitting on so don’t forget your flask!
- Fresh Water
- Dog waste bin provided (please use biodegradable poo bags)
- Car park within the secure field

I recently moved to the area. Prior to 5 acres opening i was traveling 2 hours to exercise Jester. I need a large exercise area for my dog. He is the oldest breed of dog and can travel at speeds of up to 46 mph.
5 acres is a very well designed facility and extremally safe.

Gorgeous flat field with plenty of space. I loved the access, the provision of poo bags and clean water in clean bowls and the fact that there was no poo in sight. My two sighthounds loved the space and had a fabulous time. The area of longer grass was very popular for essential rolling! I wish I lived close enough to use it on a regular basis as it’s a hundred times better than the ones available in my area.
